In hypercard, it was a program to allow people to make their own programs. Underneath the buttons you could actually program them there's a language called hyper talk. And so for me I mean hypercard was the on ramp for me to actually learn how to program. It also just showed me that computers were not just for consumption they were also for creation. Now we can do far worse than revisitinghypercard in terms of technological history and kind of how open-ended technology ended.
