Having the huns as your neighbors was a difficult, often terrifying thing. Attacks orchestrated by the huns were written about with a certain type of hyperbolic intensity. In three 95, the huns launched a particularly daring camp pain that struck at both rome's eastern provinces and the western edge of the sisoned persian empire. If these commanders felt like the leader wasn't getting them paid, that leader would not be long for this world.
