Will the Haskell Community Go Along With Such a Fork in the Road?

I got a danger for having one Haskell community that has one language and, and lead to a fork in the road where there is all my language extension flags. I think they're probably relatively easier to adapt to than say, um, getting used to the dozens or hundreds of functions that you might want to use in a program that makes extensive uses of lenses.
