Environmental agencies and public health agencies become sock puppets of the industries they are supposed to regulate. The fta gets forty five per cent of its annual budget from pharmicudical companies. About half of their money comes from pharmacutical companies. There's a law in the nineties that allows its cult fastract approval. And so now that seems dirty business, it is dirty business. It there's a kind of rational reason forit: we simply don't have enough personnel to quickly process these applications.
