There is this ongoing debate right now about what i guess the companies were an x slash e-nix and what final fantasy fans want the franchise to be because you know is it a crisis of identity or is it an opportunity. Some people just might not like the new direction and just a good faith way they tried it but there is sort of this existential struggle right now over the future of the franchise maybe you're right though.
