Paul Krasner is considered one of the pioneers of American satire. His most infamous hoax was a piece he did in 1967 called the parts that were left out of the Kennedy book. He liked to catch people off guard and forcing them to think beyond the words in front of them. A lot of his stories ended up fueling conspiracy theories during this era.
