When i am in that pleaser mode, it comes from this survival of life. I want to make sure everybody is happy so i'm safe. And i feel as though so many women whom i meet, who listen to this show, have talked to hundreds of thousands of women, they don't know how to receive from other people. It's almost like we just want to be depleted. But because we've lost touch with our being, our sene of ourselves is derived from the way we look and what work we do. That's not really who we are. We rely on these qualities and enou ar friendships. As a result, they become superficial, fragile, prone to misunderstanding
