The impact of the existence of black female physicians in terms of people who would not have gotten health care but for the commitment of these physicians. Dr. Lena Edwards and Dr. Dorothy Faribee, folks who through their careers were able to really climb into the upper echelon of health care in medicine in our country. I'd love to hear a little bit about their experiences and what they tell us about how, even if it comes too slow and certainly not fully, some of the ways that these path-baking physicians have forced institutions to change.
