The Importance of Swarm and ECS

I was in the room at DockerCon 2016 when they announced swarm and ECS was, I don't know, like a year old maybe then I can't remember what year it came out. And I remember walking over immediately to the AWS booth because up until that moment, we, you know, our options were really ECS, mesos, I think was still a thing. We were at the time, Kubernetes was pretty young. So it was still considered the risky and advanced version of running orchestration. You know, hey, passing someone that we work with on the, on the middle of the keynote surprise announcement. That's our freaking job.
