The fairly brothers did not know who Jim Carrey was. They're only thought he was the white guy in the car, which you bet, which he basically was. So imagine them showing up on set and seeing that meteor before your very eyes. He ends up getting seven million for the film instead of the 400 to 500 K range. But they're happy because anybody's been paid seven million for a film. The Jeff Daniels piece was even crazier because so he does speed that year that summer. And he'd think considered to be basically a dramatic actor in the film but speed hits with counter reads.
