Dante's Poems - A Review
In terms of its cosmology, Dante imagines that after a great cosmic battle in heaven, Lucifer, the brightest of the angels from the demonstration, yeah, fell from heaven down towards the earth. The earth, because it's good, recoiled in horror, creating the spiraling funnel of health with Satan stuck ludicrously at its centre. And finally, Dante depicts the extraordinary and brilliant diversity of the saints' wholeness and gifts as a witness to the Christian faith through the ten heavens.
