What Did Charles Todd Say About the Monopoly Game?
One of the reasons, i think the game by the 19 thirtis, was so good is that it was effectively tinkered with for 30 plus years. It was the quakers of atlantic city, for example, who introduced fixed prices for the property and the street names still used in the american version of the game. They accidentally misspelt one of the street names, marvin gardens,. which is spelt with an e n, not an i n as it's still spelt on American monopoly boards.
