I worry about biases. If you develop an emotional relationship with the machine to all of a sudden, you start are more likely to believe what it's saying - even if it doesn't make any sense. But at the same time, I think the opportunity to use machines to provide human companionship is actually not crazy. We can now very rapidly and efficiently tailor the message to the audience in ways that are not fair, not logical, not objective or meaningful. And humans, machines, empower that.
