P&O's ferryman jingles are part of their marketing campaign. Henry Brackett is haunted by an echo voice saying, it's time to pay the ferryman every time I take payments - which is not ideal. Granted, a travel across the channel is not quite as dramatic as one across the sticks, but it still has a similar energy. You might not be arriving in the underworld, but you'll feel like you might as well be as you stagger off down the ramp.
