Is There a Universal Health Care System?

The us does not have a universal health care system, which makes it quite different from these other european countries. And this is like a massive disadvantage for just basic public health initiative. In france, in the nineties, they had a pretty big opioid problem. They said, ok, doctors, you can now more easily prescribe medications for opiote addiction. As a result, they saw opiot overdose sets plum and that helped them solve their crisis. But if you want to do that in the us, we're talking about like layers that would have to work through. It's not in order by any means.
