The War Warning

Admiral kimmell receives numerous alerts like the infamous war warning. Each despatch is a piece of a jigsar puzzle, but he never puts them together to see the big picture. Kimmell still thinks his day will be dominated by golf, not infamy. He doesn't believe that aJapanese submarine could come knocking at his front door. So and again, it's because an attack on pearl harbor does not fit into his pre-existing intelligence operation. And just seems to brush it off as if it isn't important. It was later, i think generally agreed that his greatest mistake was not conducting aerial reconnaissance to see what's coming.
