The Son of Adam, the Son of God
Luke three sheds some light on this issue in terms of delineating the genealogy of Christ. In Adam, we are all children or descendants of God. Man is God's child and his sin consists of continually acting as if this were not so. Jesus recognized the immeasurable worth of every person in the eyes of God their father.
