Substack has a reputation for being open-minded. Do you want to be ecumenical? Or do you not care if it turns out that your most successful writers are on the right side of the spectrum where you find wehat? I think in large part it's just an effect of us having some of everything, and people being surprised at some things they haven't seen elsewhere. There're so many different things that there's not one thing that substack is for. And i imagine thatwhen people see a diff from what they see in the rest of the media, that that stands out is like, oh this is a special thing about substack.
