You Can't Simplify the System
I think that the Internet sort of exacerbates the problem a little bit because we we see so many cool people doing so many cool things. It took me about a year and a half to go from no events to I'm doing this full time. You can't look at someone like a Michael Jordan or LeBron James and think, Oh, well, they're just naturally good. And it just came to them and it's easy. That's part of the gig. The more you enjoy your work, the easier the work becomes for you.
