Solid State Batteries Are Better Than Lithium Batteries
A fire in a battery starts a whole chain reaction situation that makes it really hard to extinguish. One option for safer lithiam batteries is something called solid state batteries. The electrolite may be made out of glass, seramic, that charged ions can still move through. That makes them less reactive, and they can store more energy and last a lot longer.
