The Importance of Incentives in Compliance With Regulation

The motivations that exist to be able to get organizations to perform are the very things that are actually putting organizations at risk from a compliance with regulation perspective. I'd love to know if any organization has really seriously looked at reward and incentivization programs in the context of likelihood to break regulation. And we've never thought to put the brakes on those or to question what the unintended consequences of it are because, well, partly laziness.
