Michael laven, the degi who went on montel, was like friends with kiki camarena. His friend got kidnapped, presumably by the guadalahara cartel. And then hiske body was found, alike, horribly tortured and basically, like beaten to death. Later it caused like a minor international incident between the US and mexico in the late eighties,. but then was ultimately completely, basically covered up.
