DMFI Backed Candidate Endorsed by Sam Bankman Freed
In early April, in the wake of Torres's endorsement of Frost, the fight for crypto support was on. Bracey DMFI backed candidate announced the formation of a legislative caucus that would include federal and state lawmakers interested in crafting crypto policy. Frost followed on April 27 by announcing a quote national council to advise him on quote cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies. The council included experts but also Adele Nazarian, CEO of the AmericanBlockchain pack and Sean McElwee co-founder of the progressive polling operation data for progress who had played an early role in Torres's election to Congress. Gabe Bankman freed the brother of crypto billionaire Sam Bankman freed spoke at the fundraiser.
