The Origins of Astronomy

Pythagorean theorem seems to have been known to the Bronze Age Mesopotamian peoples long before Pythagoras came on the scene. This leaves the question of Egypt. If the Greeks were right that much of their scientific knowledge came from there, why does Noigabauer tell us that the Egyptians were scientific dullards? We'll return to that question in a moment.
