Can and Abel
The story of can and abel fundamentally is that it's, it's jealousy of the successful. The worst kind of successful person shows me in a negative light because they're just as reprehensible as I am. And even deep, more deeply, i'm going to criticise the idea of merit and competence itself which gets me out of my self loathing. So you can talk to people about taking responsibility for their inadequacy - if you are much better than they could be at trying to pursue something else. That's your response where do you find the meaning? Say, 'I don't want to live like this anymore'
