I came out here tonight because it is to our shame that this happened and I'm both sad and very angry. That's why I brought the candle because I didn't really want to shout today. I wanted just to express my solidarity with shit. The evening protesters are assembling outside the door to match the numbers of people who took to the streets of Dublin for the video. This was seen as very straightforward healthcare as it would have been at the time across most of Europe as well. And yeah, they were just bewildered... It must have been incomprehensible what had happened to his wife. He just couldn't understand it and his abortion was legalized in India in 1971.
