How Do I Write Poems?
I used to hate James Merrill's poetry, but then I read more carefully. He has his own pre-decoments inside those things and just kind of pulled back a little bit from judgmental person or it can be. And sure enough, it starts to get much more complicated and it's not kind of so isolated within its privilege. It's reaching out in other ways. For me, it's the same as the end-illusioned poetry. I don't see any difference. If that's what you care about, write about it. Find a way to make it,. try to find a way to win that war for the imagination to make a space for it.
