A Couple's Story About a Stroke
David and Marianne have a longish happy life together. One day, 39 years after that first date, they're watching one of our British mysteries. David notices something's wrong, but it happened so quickly, he just kind of moves on and forgets about it. A month later, Marianne starts to complain that her tooth hurts; she makes an appointment with their dentist. And what happened was instead of going to the dentist, she took a right turn towards the town where she did a lot of her work.
