Do We Need to Expand NATO?
I'm far from sure that pre war diplomacy could have prevented the war. I see no excuse for not trying, which is was our position apparently. But my view is we've been mismanaging the right the relationship with the rest of the 25 years. The farther back you go, the more I feel that if it had been done right from there on out, the chances would be higher to avoid a war.
