The Second Miracle of Chapters 8 and 9
chapter nine continues the sequence of miracles that we began in chapter eight. This block of miracles isn't just a grab bag of stuff that jesus did, but is progressively presenting a case for the identity and the authort of christ. The authority of christ is emphasized and opposition starts to emerge. In the final cycle, jesus fame spreads far further.
