The Role of the Policy Research Team at OpenAI
The policy research team basically does research that informs policy. Research could include building evaluations of certain safety or economic impact issues. And it could mean trying out new things and kind of seeing how different policy interventions work in order to, you know, crystallize our thinking. So on a day-to-day basis, that might mean looking at a wide range of issues.
