Is there really a need for this huge number of hemataputic tam sels, or could you do it more simply with more mature cells? And i think that's a possibility. In the past ten years, we've discovered a whole new branch of innate lymphoid cells - these are cells we didn't even know existed more than 15 years ago. If we start using those to transplant instead, that might be a completely different approach from using hemata poetic stem cells.
