Is There a Solution to Complexity in Open Source Software?

I love open source software but I think it has led to great complexity. The machines are complicated and the software stacks that we use are complicated. Sometimes we have a bug and you have to spend days and it's really complex. So how do you see the solution here? I don't know the answer to it.
