The Southern Mormons and the Battle of the Mountain Marados
The first shots began on the morning of September 7th. See the southern Mormons had allied themselves with the Paiute tribe. And when the settlers looked out there, who was shooting them, it appeared to be a Paiute raiding party. But as the siege continued, the settlers started to notice that out of the 250 so Paiutes attacking, a good number of those guys obviously had white skin under their war paint.
