Introduction
i visited coffee legend george howell at his roastery outside boston. He put out a row of samples from five different countries for me to taste. The yemen sample was the last one i spooned into my cup to try. As you listeners might remember, the first commercial coffee plantation started in yemen. There's not much growing there these days due to conflict and economics. But even though the yemine coffee is ancient, this approach to brewing and tasting coffee is really new.
