The Problem With Machine Learning in Systems
We have been making some progress with explainable machine learning techniques. One thing that we've been looking at is for performance teagking, specifically to correct design bugs in the application. And right now this is a limited set of design bags, so it can be things like a blocking connections. May be share data structures that create botl nexs, maybe cyclic dependencies between micro services. But if you use the machine learning system, it can help you pin down a where the problem might be and then it still needs some human intervention to actually fix the problem. Thats on fairly exciting.
