The best evidence we have of that is he made those pictures, like, a few days before the actual shooting. He may not have said what his plans were, but he thought, i'm going to be sharing these when i'm famous. I think oswald did have a motive, maybe a mixture of motives, but he was so tight lipped. But there are a number of theories, and i talk about them in my book.

As we approach the sixtieth anniversary of the violent public assassination of President John F. Kennedy, over half of all Americans surveyed continue to believe that he was killed by a conspiracy involving multiple assassins.
