The Importance of Vaccines

In 2019, there were almost 1,300 individual cases of measles that were confirmed across 31 states in the US. The large majority of these cases were linked to outbreaks in religious communities in New York. So we know that measles is more likely to spread and cause outbreaks where groups of people are unvaccinated.
