Matt McDuff and Lindsey's Relationship
Shirley Zalow is the only person we spoke with in our reporting who told us Lindsey was afraid of Matt around the time of the murder. Sources say Lindsey called police about Matt at least three times, but no criminal charges were ever filed. Police tell us that when Lindsey was killed, Matt and Lindsey had been apart for nearly two years. According to police, they'd had no contact for months before the murder.
