Allegations of parental alienation need to be identified and worked with as such. But sometimes the counter allegation comes in a parental alienation, which doesn't bear out. And that's one of the dilemmas for us and for the courts when considering these issues. Are they genuine? If so, what is the impact? If they are genuine, how do we then address these issues? A therapy is certainly one of the tools. persuading families to engage in a therapeutic process to address these issues can be very, very difficult.
