Is Reading Back a Habit?
Make reading back, be it on an individual sentence or a paragraph, make that a routine. So again, being persistent with this idea of, have you read that back, does it say what you want it to say? Yeah, really focus on building that habit. If you achieve only one thing across a year with a group of writers, getting them to consistently read back as they're going to check that the sentence does what it wants to do, then yeah, you're probably not going too far wrong. That'd be my next principle. Just on the side of the mat, I promise you this isn't a marketing episode, it's all for our writing curriculum.
