The Law of Jurisdiction
Nico: Territoriality plays a very limited role in fact, but a pretty strong role in rhetoric. He argues that jurisdiction has really come unbound and this territoriality is no longer a limiting principle,. But instead, merely kind of a rhetorical frame in which states can largely do what they want when it is about actors on global markets. Roger: The extraterritorial the global, the unbound element, the dominant. It's not necessarily a bad thing or it doesn't have to necessarily think it's a bad thing. Often it actually provides a service to everybody, to other countries too.
