The Kindness of God

The church in the west did not hear we were the righteousness of god in christ. We heard repent. And what did that mean? That meant, stop doing what you've been doing and stop it right now. They didn't even know what the word repent meant. It's not what the word means. It means to change the way you think so deeply that it affects the direction you're moving in. The kindness of god should be the first thought that shifts behavior. God is not a task master or slave driver. He is not punitive. How do i know that? Because the bible says it's the kindness of god that leads to metanoa.
