What Kind of Childhood Did You Have?

Jack was born in a working-class factory town called Northwich not Norwich but Northwich England which is about 25 miles south of Manchester. His father was an American GI stationed in England during World War II and his mother was a wonderful literate young woman who lived in Cheshire he met her there they were married a year later i was born. Jack grew up mainly though in Rockland County New York near a town called Nyack which is a dreamy Thornton Wilderesque town on the Hudson River with a mountain.
