Plato's Credo and Socrates' Death
If you haven't read plato's credo You should go read it because this is the dialogue in which plato tries to commit Socrates to flee the city. This is where um Socrates actually is willing to go to his death It's the follow-up to the apology and if you haven't reading the apology it turns out that a very good podcast had an episode about that Um And you'll see I think a lot of parallels in inUm in where boethys ends up right uh with with some of Socrates now There's a big difference between this book and the credo which is the credo basically ends with Socrates saying like okay I'm gonna go die now.
