Ian Curtis: A Dark Name to Complement the Dark Sand

Ian Curtis quickly emerged as the group's frontman. He had a frenetic stage presence and talent for songwriting. Ian didn't actually play any instrumentation, not really, but he had a good ear. And then I would pick all the riffs and arrange them through the arrangement on it. Then we'd end up with a basic arrangement that you take back and work the lyrics on.
