The objective of a AI is to build an AGI that will then stop all other AGIs. They themselves have said that AGI is an existential threat to humanity at the end of democracy and the end of capitalism. We use an O-race to build this technology first that will change civilization as we know it. Because we have an entity that is more capable than a human. Will he do it or not? Who knows? It'll be more aligned with our open data sets that they can use.
