The Destabilizing Time of Augustine
Augustine was living in a destabilizing time where there was a great change. I don't know that we can even read him better maybe today given our the touch points that we have with him. That maybe we won't bring some of the enlightenment or modernistic baggage into our reading and perhaps we can hear him a little bit better and hear his voice clearer today.
