How to Make a Fruit Cake?
Fruit cake was softer than a heavy fruit cake, but still very fruit dense. I used odd dates and prunes and dried pears and apron cots. Andhen they were soaked in brandy, and so the whole cake just had a delicious moistness to it. Since this was an emily dickinson cake, i added a little honey to the syrup,. because she has the lovely little poem about honey that i included when i gae them away.
