The fact that AI can write a story that moves us and impresses us is no surprise. In a sense, it's no more surprising than drawing a pornographic cartoon that turns someone on. A story can make you shed tears or laugh, even if the transformer is just pushing around zeros and ones. So now we'll all get to experience literary worlds that are infinite in all directions.
